The Cookery

If there’s one thing we can’t stand at Beyond Space, it’s a ‘That’s just the way it is’ in answer to the question ‘Why?’. Why are 21st century kitchen counters suited to people of (early) 20th century height? Why do we organise our hobs in such a way that you actually can’t use them all at once, lest you create a dangerously cramped hotspot of pots and pans? Why should the quality of standardised kitchens in new-built housing be so shockingly sub par? Why?!

Though we see the pragmatic value of standardisation, even the most received conventions require a sporadic re-evaluation to bring them up to date to suit the changing demands of our day and age. The Cookery does just that. It’s our thoroughly reconsidered answer to contemporary requirements of a standardised kitchen.

The Cookery is compact, but chockfull of nifty tweaks. Just that bit of extra height means all the more efficient storage space, so more space for you and yours to cook. The cookery strikes just the right balance between standard luxurious built in appliances and personalised options to match anyone’s interior and personal tastes. Sometimes, you just need to set the new standard.
